mac os x java vulnerabilities

Few months ago, several vulnerabilities were discovered and fixed by Sun. However, many Mac OS X security issues are ignored if the severity of the issue is not adequately demonstrated.

memcached: more then just the perfect cache

I started today to look at the MemcacheDB, as MySQL alternative for certain heavy queries. Scott Macvicar will also talk about it at #tek09 conference, in Chicago.

twitter rocking on my blackberry

I spent yesterday the best $5 for my Blackberry 8830.
It is a little application called TweetGenius and is simply awesome.

The design is great, except 2 minor things I did not like.

major difference between mysql versions

MySQL 5.1.34 lost over 10MB in size, compared to 5.1.33 version. I will run a diff to see what is going on. If you have more info, please let me know.
