marketplace script started
This will be a quite long product to code, for vBulletin.
I was looking at the current solutions and none of them was satisfactory for my site usage. So I decided to build my own. The project is large because it will be similar to eBay functionality, all embedded into vBulletin.
Keep in mind this will not be the traditional marketplace you are used to see at Sitepoint, for example. It will work exactly like eBay. A seller will start a new auction. Once the auction completed, a fee will be deducted from the final auction price. I will probably do a billing feature also, so busy sellers get a monthly invoice.
I will post more updates, here.

There is some nice progress done to the Market project. So far I finished:
- market categories
- market moderation system
- usergroup/market permissions
I showed quickly my work to Mert and he was pleased with the current results.

More code written, eufff. Practically the admin and mod control panel scripts are finished. There are definitelly some minor bugs, I know. But overall, this project part is completed. I will start this week to code the main market page, visible by all users. Once done, I will link my development server so you can actually “feel” it. Time to clean my white board that I use for project logic…
