another day at… home +
There are some of my Internet friends who asked me how do I work into my home office. After a while, I decided to snap few quick shots, in order to satisfy everyone’s curiosity.
This is where I spend my time coding during the day, afternoon and… mostly all nights. Yes, making money is not easy, unfortunatelly. The setup is pretty straight forward. I purchased a Galant IKEA office table and I worked one weekend to design the wiring for the hole system. So far this is the setup I have:
- 3 Dell web servers
- 2 24″ screens (1 Dell, 1 Samsung)
- 1 Dell multi-function printer (yes, we still need to fax those NDA’s)
- 1 Avocent DVI switch (only switch that has 1900×1200 resolution through DVI)
- 1 Netgear ProSafe firewall
- 1 Speedstream modem
I purchased some peg board, convoluted tubing and tie wraps, to hide all wires under the table. You have no idea how much time I spent, in order to set everything like that. Overall, the result is very satisfactory. I can stretch my legs easy now…
Feel free to let me know what you think.
